We're looking for a highly skilled recruiter to join our team and help us find the right people for the right roles.
The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment, along with deep knowledge of the screening, interviewing, and hiring processes.
Built Strong will be adding 50 new employees in 2023! We're seeking someone who's passionate about discovering untapped talent, driving company growth, and helping people develop successful careers.
This position is expected to develop and lead a Recruiting Team.
This will be a new position and new department for Built Strong, which enables you the opportunity to build your department to your standards.
Objectives of this role:
Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's hiring needs for every role, and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
Manage all phases of the recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, phone screening, hiring manager presentation, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Serve as a brand ambassador for Built Strong Exteriors while providing best-in-class hiring leader and candidate experiences by providing strategic, proactive, and timely solutions to hiring challenges.
Foster high-touch relationships using a database of qualified candidates to choose from when positions become open.
Partner with senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
Remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates, and create and post job descriptions and announcements.
Build a Recruiting Department to keep pace for a $125MM company.
Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with managers to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications.
Develop and maintain recruitment strategies to position the company as a preferred employer in the construction industry.
Oversee the recruiting budget.
Meeting weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals which include 50
calls per day, converting 30
candidates per month.
Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms, especially social media.
Implement established hiring strategies through AcuMax Index to build job ads, pre-screen and interview.
Converting prospects to candidates by building and maintaining relationships and moving them through the onboarding process.
Continuously developing and upholding processes and procedures in relation to the onboarding process.
Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business.
Screen resumes and CVs and manage job candidates throughout hiring process, from interview preparation to final offer negotiation.
Maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other designations.
Travel and actively recruit college, military, and technical conferences for interns and full-time hires.
Become involved in industry associations and symposiums to further build relationships with potential talent.
Attend live and virtual networking events to build talent networks and market the Built Strong brand.
Provide coaching and guidance to junior-level recruiting staff.
Build relationships with area colleges and trade schools.
Design an Intern Program for each department.
Required skills and
Qualifications:
2 or more years of experience in recruitment or human resources.
Construction industry is preferred but not required.
Goal oriented by demonstrating the ability to convert leads into candidates and candidates into placements.

Preferred skills and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience in human resources management or related field.
Proficiency with content management systems.
Experience in developing recruitment strategy.
Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities.
Currently Built Strong is located in MN, however our long-range plans include aggressive expansion and acquisition.
Ability to travel as needed; possibly 50%
down the road.
