Room Inspector
Description:

00 an hour.
Weekend Shift Differential $2.
00 an hour additional on Saturday and Sunday Hire on Bonus $750.
00 hire on bonus is for new hires and rehires that are returning after 5 years or more.
The bonus will be paid out in equal $250 portions after successfully completing 3 months, 6 months and 9 months of employment with Treasure Island Resort & Casino.
Summary:
To inspect cleaned guest rooms, bathrooms and corridors for conformance to standards.
- Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with standards, verify room status and notify front desk of room availability and needs - Clean and strip rooms, portion cleaning chemicals, remove dirty service items / trash from halls and rooms - Turn in lost and found items - Monitor rooms and corridors for security purposes - Report room damages, out-of-order items and identify areas needing repair and generate maintenance work orders - Assist other staff as needed, including cleaning hotel rooms IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE:
Required:
- One (1) year guest room attendant or similar housekeeping experience - High attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills including answering radio calls - High level of organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities - Ability to work fast and efficiently and complete multiple tasks under pressure while keeping good communication flow with other Hotel staff - Ability to meet deadlines - Ability to learn appropriate chemical usage / portions and proper equipment usage Preferred:
