The accounting position is a critical role in the organization.
Responsible for assisting the day-to-day operation of the accounting department in many different accounting cycles.
They are also responsible for operating and completing tasks on accounting systems and understanding systems and data.
The successful candidate will have a positive, professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills and will be able to work as a team player.
The nature of the work will require that the candidate demonstrate initiative and responsibility and be flexible/adaptive to a fast-paced and fluid business environment.
Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the department and organization.
Essential Functions:
Assists with and posts cash receipts for customer payments to the AR system.
Assists with and or completes bank deposits.
Assists with and processes company credit cards charges and obtaining proper documents.
Assists with and processes company accounts payable and document imaging.
Assists with and processes employee expense reports for reimbursement and coding.
Other duties as assigned.
Office and travel:
Position based at the corporate office location with no travel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
