Data Analyst

I. Purpose of Position
TheData Analyst is responsible for buildingand utilizing data monitoring tools for internal and external customers. Youwill learn GTT's data architecture; map data sources; and build tools based onthe requirements you gather. You will increase visibility to the health of GTT'ssystems deployed at customer sites.
II. KeyResponsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external customers to determine data and reporting needs for managed services.
Working with the development team, identify data sources and understand system architecture in order to design reporting to meet customer needs
Build, utilize and improve scorecards and dashboards within Tableau or other business intelligence tools using a variety of data sources: SQL database, Excel, Mongo database, AWS S3 (using Athena) and others.
Support the system deployment team by analyzing data to ensure functionality and scalability
Monitor Customer systems to proactively report and log maintenance issues
Develop and standard work for monitoring systems and reporting of key metrics
III. Relationships
This position willreport directly to the Client Services Director of GTT.
Internal Relationships
Youwill be part of the client services organization and will work closely with allmembers of the team including customer service, technical support and projectmanagement.
Coordinatewith sales and marketing in gathering requirements, interpreting customer needsand new product management.
Youwill work closely with product development learning the system's architectureand data sources. Participate in product development design meetings as well asbacklog grooming and demonstrations.
Youwill bring trends or outstanding software, firmware, and/or hardware issues to theproduct development team to resolve problems or identify new development opportunities.
External Relationships
Underthe guidance of the project managers or technical support team, work withexternal customers as required.
V. Background and Skill
4-year degree preferably in data, computing or technical in nature
Experienced creating reports in Tableau and/or other reporting tools

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
