Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Advanced Materials Division Marketing Analyst will serve as a global business analyst focusing on understanding and improving our overall electric vehicle (EV) sales penetration throughout the automotive value chain and across multiple divisions within 3M. Through this work, they will help accelerate relevant products into this market; primarily focusing on friction shims and glass bubbles in 2019.The individual selected for this role will also serve as the sales district owner for AdMD.
Job responsibilities include hands on marketing & sales support, such as tracking and monitoring progress of cross divisional opportunities, driving global alignment where appropriate and identifying gaps/opportunities in process. The individual will drive a customer-first, optimized and highly efficient 3M business process that generates efficient growth. The individual will work within the framework of a cross-functional team that may include sales, marketing, quality, and manufacturing to meet customer needs and balance business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Data & Process Owner/Expert for AdMD select Markets - Automotive Focus
Act as subject matter expert, for sales process, business process & financial reporting of AdMD automotive sales
Accountable for regular sales reporting within AdMD and with other 3M divisions, working closely with financial team(s) and sales team(s) to drive accurate reporting
Deliver break down & quality of sales reporting by light commercial vehicles & by application
Work with global subsidiaries to understand and improve reporting data quality
Deliver on Cross-Divisional Automotive Priorities & Support Collaboration with the Automotive Electrification Priority Growth Program & Automotive Division (AASD)
Participate in Automotive Marketing Sprints/Workshops leveraging relevant AdMD Technical, Sales, & Marketing when needed to deliver high quality content
Participate and lead many non-core AdMD Automotive activities primarily driven other divisions (tradeshows, displays, investor days)
Monitor & drive electric vehicle projects for global replication & best practices
Point person for CFM sales support coordination (tools, tracking)
Work closely with AdMD segment marketing to ensure projects are aligned with automotive insights & metrics
Continually build upon automotive customer journey maps based on insights gathered as well as lead/participate in marketing and sales activities as assigned
Manage Sales District for AdMD
Division point person and liaison for sales district maintenance; including pricing structure, merchandising, terms and conditions of sale to the customer for the sales district
Work closely with material owners to establish pricing structure and execution of material listings
Communicate SD changes and proper organizational support for customers mapped to sales district (example CFM inbound/outbound management)
New customer communication and onboarding
Basic Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Minimum of three (3) combined years of marketing and/or business development experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics or an engineering discipline
Minimum of three years' experience in automotive industry, preferably in materials
Customer Relationship Management Experience
Customer centric and solution oriented thinking
Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
Strong people skills and ability to work with cross-functional team
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and accommodate changing circumstances
Ability to work with conflicting, delayed or ambiguous information
Location: Oakdale, MN or Livonia, MI
Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international
Relocation: Is not authorized

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
